Spring Day

We had to hit the WalMart for underware today and about one mile away is Buttermilk Falls so we stopped and gazed for about 5 minutes.

Our daughter was pretty sure she'd fall in if she stood in front of it so this is her picture.

While we were doing this Rob was playing paintball with the youth group boys. He chose to defend the fort while the boys chose to attack. The boys choice proved to be a bit smarter! ;0)

An old wooden silo I saw on a drive the other day.

Mimi & Papa's

Rob's Aunt Amy, Uncle Mark, and our nephew Joey were all up from GA this week so we traveled to Rob's mom's Tuesday for dinner with the fam.Our daughter liked this pretty little table her Uncle Nate brought for the girls to sit at.
Dee's dog is 7lbs fully grown! So cute!

Our son and nephew hit it off GREAT!!! They played all night long and were sad to see each other go. They haven't seen one another in years.

What a crew!

Hailey having a little dinner with Aunt Amy's help.
Rob as we sang Happy Birthday to him.

Our daughter LOVES dogs.

How adorable is my niece?!?!?!?!

What a little peanut. She's so quiet and just takes it all in.

I went to grab my purse and saw that Katie was using it as a pillow :0)

Check out my-mother-in-law's new ride! How cool is Rob's Mom?!

This is just a picture my son drew for me yesterday that I thought I'd share.

Have a great day all.

Our Last Month or So

Just an up date on the Abells
On Feb 14th the kids and I helped the Sunday School decorate 72 dozen sugar cookies that we pre-sold to raise money to aide a third world family through Heifer International.

The youth event I organized went off w/o a hitch with 150 in attendance!! Not bad for a town with no stop lights! I told the youth there that I did not want this to just be a fun event but the beginning of a conversation. I didn't want to talk at them but WITH them. I took their emails, cell numbers for texting, facebook, myspace info, etc. We will continue the conversation in the months to come.

For tons of Cabin Fever pics go to our youth blog at http://www.thelimegreenroom.blogspot.com/

"Yo Mama Ain't Here" sign. (I told the kids at the beginning of the day that I wanted everyone to have fun but that I was not their Mama and would not pick up after them. I selected one youth to be the YMAH Police and carry this sign shouting "Yo Mama Ain't Here!" whenever he saw a violation.

The Next Day was youth Sunday at our church and the girls dance team I lead performed for the first time. They did so good! I was so proud! (Ages 5-9)

My daughter decided to draw with chalk in 18 degree weather...

We visited the work cite of the cousins of ours who are going to build our timber framed house in Endicott.

This is the family trying to help me visualize how big our main room would be (cuz this one is bigger than our house will be).

My son checking out the 2nd story.

Today for family day we painted bird houses.
